These rings can either have a clip such as a clip-on eye or an eyelet where the curtain should be attached. To attach your curtain, make sure that the rings are already inserted in the rod. Start at one end and clip the curtain on the ring or attach it to the eyelet. Continue with the other rings until you get to the other end.
Another way to attach the curtains to the rings is to lay them on the floor. Depending on what's convenient for you, you can do this with the rings already attached to the rod or just work on the rings first without the rod. Attach the clip rings one by one starting from the left side going to the right.
Once done, you can then insert the rings back to the rod and put the rod back on the brackets that support it on your window frame. Keep the rings approximately two to four inches away from each other. Adjust them when necessary. Should you wish to change curtains again, simply unclip the fabric and then reattach your new curtain.
